Sr. Clinical Applications Systems Analyst - Ambulatory
Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of and expertise in Health Care information technology, computer systems, applications and interfaces and delivering highly complex solutions sets or comparable experience. Strong working knowledge and build experience with Epic systems. Exhibits expert skills in collaborative facilitation and leadership of teams and customers with complex business and technical issues and problems. Demonstrates expertise in evaluating the need for updates, modifications, or replacement of computer and/or application systems. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the hospital inpatient and outpatient business functions. Demonstrates advanced proficiency in creating detailed documentation, including recommendations for system changes and improvements. Communicates effectively with clients, colleagues, developers, and organizational administration. Provides estimates for complex work efforts. Demonstrates excellent analysis skills. Develops and manages operational and project cost estimates. Manages vendor relationships.
Education and Experience
BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related Health Care field, or equivalent demonstrated work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
Four to seven years' relevant experience within a healthcare environment highly desired or equivalent demonstrated knowledge and capability. Two to five years IT Analyst experience highly desired. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, etc). Certifications/proficiency in EpicCare, Registries and/or Reporting Workbench highly preferred.
