We're looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, and detail-oriented candidate to join the SRS Device and Electronics team. The Category Manager will work across all functional areas within SRS and across other Amazon businesses to grow and improve their category performance.
The Category Manager will possess a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business (this entails owning data quality monitoring, understanding and reporting on the vendors, along with responsibility for driving strategic projects and promotions to achieve business objectives). The Category Manager will own the P&L for their respective categories. This includes overseeing product selection and life cycle, managing day-to-day relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and negotiating and securing marketing funds. The Category Manager works directly with our vendors and at the end of the day your contributions will have a major impact on their success on the growth of SRS.
The candidate possesses experience in buying, marketing, and/or finance, with a track record of successful relationship management, strong analytical acumen, and experience generating and managing reporting and analysis. Great communication skills and proficiency with Excel will be essential to your success. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will identify and take ownership of projects and business problems and drive them to a successful result.

• MBA with relevant business experience
• Retail or online experience
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
• Experience building category plans and bridging variance +/- vs. plan
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated success in working across multiple teams
• Experience with complex negotiations and long term relationship management
• Strong interest in Electronic products
• Knowledge of SQL
