Research, analyze, validate and communicate business and market data for the purpose of determining organizational or program performance, trends and/or probability. Create data models of business processes and/or problems to identify opportunities to improve departmental and corporate operations. Applyforecasting and predictive modeling techniques to enhance strategic thinking and business planning. Monitor enterprise performance through the creation of Key Performance Indicator Dashboards. Meet with key stakeholders to present and review data and analysis.
Coordinates and completes ad-hoc data requests and reports and performs necessary validation to ensure accuracy. Possess independent problem-solving and critical thinking skills and able to correctly apply statistical analysis techniques. Requires proven analytical skills with ability to organize, maintain, process and analyze vast amounts of information and complex issues and communicate findings in a clear, concise manner including verbally, graphically and in writing to a variety of audiences.
Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field by reading appropriate books, journals and other literature and attending seminars. Maintains internal and external contacts to gather and exchange knowledge, coordinate research and analysis and keep abreast of industry trends. Continually explore opportunities to improve processes through the ongoing development of analytical tools and models, reporting software and dashboards.
Provides mentoring and training to other team members to improve overall team performance and knowledge. Is able to effectively lead other members of the team/project.

Must have advanced skills in Microsoft software including: SQL queries (T-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server); Analysis Services (SSAS); SQL Server Integration Services; Reporting Services; Power BI; Excel including Power Pivot, Power Query & Power Map. Must be able to use Office365 applications, Sharepoint and Access. Experience with Azure SQL Data Warehouse preferred

Bachelors or better in Computer Science or related field.
2 years:Insurance industry experience is preferred.
