Job Purpose:
The Sr. Interconnect Business Development Manager will develop relationships within target customers to penetrate organization and open doors to new business opportunities for the assigned Interconnect unit for Southern California.
Nature of Duties:
The ideal candidate will deploy account strategies in conjunction with Management in order to achieve goals and objectives set for the business. The BDM will be responsible for aggressively pursuing Interconnect business to ensure market share growth and position the Interconnect Technology Group for future business successes. This person will also be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales revenues targets. The BDM will communicate issues and problems to Management in order to drive and assist with resolution. The BDM will regularly update IT system with required data such as customer information, new opportunity logs and call plans. The successful candidate must have an excellent understanding of Interconnect methods as well as the technical background to engage in capability discussions with Engineering, Quality and Procurement organizations. In addition, this person must have a proven track record in generating profitable business growth in the Interconnect market. This person must also have the ability to work collaboratively with the Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams within Sanmina. The successful candidate must be able to develop, prepare and present high quality Sales presentations.
