Our Retail Sales team is adding a Sr. Retail Development Manager, Key Accounts to the team. As a Sr. Retail Development Manager for our Key Accounts, you will work to create and uncover new sales opportunities within your assigned territory which consists of Tier 1 Retailers, Grocers and Distributors. This is a role that is helping to uncover opportunities within some of the most strategic and visible accounts for SPS Commerce. You will focus on understanding the supply chain processes, challenges, initiatives, and change events occurring within the prospects' organization, and through prospecting, properly align SPS Commerce with executive-level contacts at the buying level.

The Day to Day:
This is an outbound/prospecting role focusing on retail, grocery and distribution markets. You will be researching the accounts in your territory, identifying change events or triggers that might lead to a business opportunity for SPS Commerce. You will prospect into various departments and contacts across each account to get engagement. Your goal is to generate new sales opportunities by sparking interest of your prospects and gain commitment for a meeting with an Account Executive to explore how SPS Commerce can help them solve their business challenges.
