Responsible for translating business strategy and needs into defined projects to ensure alignment between the business and IT. Understand existing and proposed business processes and information system capabilities to assist with planning cross-departmental solutions that will benefit the enterprise. Serve as a trusted liaison to the business to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. Facilitate discussions with the business sponsors and IT delivery leads to develop and approve the project, as well as communicate the project definition and approval status to executive leadership. Determine staffing needs and submit the necessary requests to ensure projects are staffed appropriately.

Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Translates business strategy, product strategy and direction, and IT strategy into IT initiatives

Integrate existing and planned initiatives into a cohesive and collaborative approach leveraging service delivery teams

Works with the business to identify process improvement opportunities and system solutions

Analyze vendor products to understand the strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions

Develop project plans and use associated project planning tools as needed

Successfully adhere to implementation schedules for system deployments and improvements

Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage change to such specifications

Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business and IT from initial requirements to final implementation

Influence individuals and teams, both with and without authority, while taking responsibility for getting results

Engage with leadership to understand business issues and strategic direction and drive acceptance and sponsorship for transformational change and business process improvement

Work with business partners to align technology solutions with business strategies

Support moderately complex business processes

Provide direction for project activities and manage project resources

Provides communication to the business regarding status of project definition and approval

Facilitates gathering and documentation of functional requirements

Assists with resolution of cross-departmental, business integration issues

Conduct feasibility studies to assess cost/benefit, efficiency and technical viability of solutions to business problems

BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
