Sr. Budget Analyst in support of DISA
Essential Job Functions
Perform budget support functions involving the formulation, justification and/or execution of budgets for the DISA Resource Management Center. Support the preparation of command, agency, or Presidential budgets and assist in prepartion or required supporting justification as well as assist in the development of detailed programming and financial planning justification and documentation for inclusion in the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and Five Year Defense Program (FYDP) submissions.
The ability to write narratives justifying agency budget exhibits. The ability to analyze trends and developments in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. Analyze and verify budget data. Enter budgetary information in a variety of automated financial systems, develop reports and schedules using Microsoft applications, DoD and DISA automated systems.
DoD Financial Management Level 3 certification or American Society of Military Comptrollers Certified Defense Financial Manager certification with at least eight years of DoD Budget Analyst experience is required. Experience with DoD policies, regulations and procedures is also required.
