Sr Backend Java Developer

Description & Requirements

As a Java Software Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of the Framework team's software using the Java programming language. You'll collaborate with other developers, product owners and clients to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions in an AWS Cloud solution environment.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Maintain and enhance Landmark Java Framework software
• Code and test Java software
• Triage and prioritize issues independently
• Debug complex issues and code involving multiple stakeholders and technologies
• Development Processes (Daily Team Collaboration, Planning, Backlog Refinement, Demos)
• Deliver long-term solutions that result in improved developer and customer experience and productivity

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience implementing Java-based solutions in business or software development environments that deliver long-term solutions that enhance developer productivity and software quality
• Java programming principles including test-driven development and debugging experience
• Experience with enterprise resource planning systems architecture and financial software functionalities
• Experience leveraging Java to build systems that support extensive business processes and financial operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sumo, Splunk Query and Dashboard experience
• Git, Jira, and Confluence experience
• Landmark Pattern Language (LPL) experience
• Scripting experience utilizing perl, python, bash, groovy, go
• Database (SQL, AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, PostgreSQL) knowledge
• AWS services (S3, EC2, EBS)
• Familiarity with Infor CloudSuite Landmark-based products
