KPMG is currently seeking a Sr Associate to join our Finance and Accounting  organization.


  • Provide  independent judgment in creating and selecting strategies to complete work assignments
  • Identify  inconsistencies and problems and provide possible solutions to the attention of management

  • Recognize, research and recommend resolution of moderate to complex work assignments

  • Work on the writing of business requirements needed in order to automate the reconciliation processes

  • Develop and documents new processes and procedures with final approval from higher levels of leadership

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new methods for improving internal processes and services and coordinates the transition of processes from one team to another


  • Minimum of five to seven  years of accounting or financeexperience; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent work experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access along with basic technical skills in general ledger accounting; knowledge of partnership accounting a plus

  • Ability to be a team player and work independently on core responsibilities and additional projects

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate financial matters to clients
