Job Description

The Sr. Analyst, US Region Commercial Enablement Training is critical role within the US Commercial Operations organization, supporting and partnering with the various US Region Business Units (sales & marketing teams) to ensure the most effective and consistent utilization of sales tools and technologies deployed to our US Region selling teams. This individual will be responsible for the development and continuous enhancement/improvement of a US Region Commercial Enablement training curriculum, as well as the creation and deployment (i.e. training) content. Part of the US Region Commercial Operations organization, this role will directly report in to the Associate Director, Commercial Enablement and within a matrix environment will collaborate with and support all US Region Sales teams, Commercial Operations, Channel Management and Strategic Customer Group

Part of the US Region Commercial Operations organization, this role will directly report in to the Associate Director, Commercial Enablement and within a matrix environment will collaborate with and support all US Region Sales teams, Commercial Operations, Channel Management and Strategic Customer Group.

Impact

This position will drive overall commercial effectiveness amongst the US Region by ensuring that our investment in tools and technologies are properly utilized by all US Region sales teams.  Specifically, this role will partner with Sales & Commercial Effectiveness leaders to build and execute a training roadmap for supporting and continually enhancing tool/technology/process usage – inclusive of Salesforce.com (Customer Relationship Management), Altify (Strategic Account Planning), Allego (sales coaching) and more. The role will have a major impact on driving tool adoption, utilization and increasing salesperson success, tenure, effectiveness and performance by ensuring that data, tools, and processes are clearly defined, utilized and maintained.

Responsibilities

This role is directly responsible for:

1) Creating a US Region Commercial Enablement training curriculum, in partnership with US Region Sales Effectiveness leaders, to be utilized by US Region Sales reps from initial rep on-boarding

2) Developing training content/collateral and training programs, in conjunction with the developed training curriculum, that can be deployed to US Region Sales reps in a variety of methods (i.e. “live” training, eLearning, etc.)

3) Leading, developing and managing a Governance Body of training resources within the US Region, and within US Commercial Operations, related to Salesforce.com usage

4) Salesforce.com US Region “Enterprise” Training Program – develop a training program which defines “best practice” for all US Region users, which will be further adapted/”localized” by individual Business Units as needed

5) Salesforce.com Technical Skills/Adoption – ensures that Salesforce.cominvestments are properly utilized by developing, distributing and analyzing adoption & adherence reports, proactively identifying training issues, process issues or potential deviations from establish standards

5) Developing user training content and ensuring system adoption; holds “group” trainings as well as one-on-one trainings as needed

6) Expand the utilization and functionality of Salesforce.com by staying in touch with application development, inclusive of 3rd party vendors/providers (i.e. Altify)

7) Data quality & system integration management, ensuring that system data remains accurate through utilization of proactive dashboards, reports, etc. to identify outliers/inaccuracies

Qualifications -

Knowledge:

  • Adult Education & Learning – knowledge of andragogical learning process/techniques leading to effective training environments and training outcomes for sales personnel
  • Sales Training Knowledge: familiarity/competency in understanding sales processes, customer buying cycles, customer lifecycle management/account planning, opportunity/funnel management, etc.
  • Customer Relationship Management platforms (i.e. Salesforce.com, Veeva, SAP CRM, etc.)
  • Relational data/Master Data Management
  • Data Integration/System Integration

Skills:                                                          

  • Ability to develop and deliver process and technology training content through both electronic (eLearning) methods as well as in-person, instructor-led trainings
  • Ability to manage and influence key stakeholders, both “business”-side as well as “technical”
  • Ability to develop and execute a long-term portfolio of training projects as part of a larger strategic roadmap
  • Ability to interact with various levels of leadership and stakeholders (from sales reps to business leadership) on a variety of tasks, from strategic initiatives to tactical/operational activities
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Proven ability to utilize Salesforce.com as an analytical tool; strong background in reporting or dashboard development


Education and Experience:

  • 7-10 overall years of experience in commercial/sales support roles required
  • 3-5 years of Adult Education/Learning & Development experiencerequired, preferably in a Commercial Sales environment
  • 3-5 years of Salesforce administration experiencepreferred
  • Salesforce.com Administrator Certification preferred
  • System Integration and Data Management experiencepreferred
  • Healthcare industry experiencepreferred
  • B.A. or B.S. degreerequired, M.B.A. preferred
  • Adult Learning certification or equivalent preferred
