Navigant’s D&I practice focuses on assisting corporations and their counsel in addressing the issues associated with complex disputes, forensic accounting issues, global investigations and compliance, and technology services. Our disputes professionals provide expert testimony and privileged consulting on damage quantum, liability and valuation issues on complex commercial disputes. Our forensic accounting specialists deliver privileged and independent consulting on complex accounting and financialreporting issues which may result in expert testimony and reporting to management, boards and regulators on accounting disputes, auditor malpractice, individual white collar defense and GAAP/GAAS investigations. In global investigations, we combine deep investigative law enforcement, industry and accounting skills on anti-money laundering, bribery & corruption, public sector & monitoring, healthcare and government contracting compliance & investigative matters. We deliver technology services to assist in the litigation and investigation process and in solving business problems practice areas, including discovery services, compliance technology and complex data management.


As a Production Specialist the incumbent is primarily responsible for producing quality e-discovery deliverables as defined in the project specifications and directed by the Project Manager. The Production Specialist will perform all processing tasks through the entire e-discovery lifecycle to ensure client satisfaction and accurate deliverables that meet or exceed the requirements.  He/She requires moderate supervision and focuses on detail e-Discovery Data (EDD) processing activities.

  • Produce quality deliverables as defined in the project specifications on Project Intake form
  • Communicate detailed job specifications with project leads and supervisor
  • Prioritize workload assignments and resolve any conflicts that may arise
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while handling multiple tasks through completion
  • Create and edit SQL stored procedures and batch files on a case by case basis
  • Create and run custom queries and stored procedures within SQL Management Studio
  • QC and finalize all deliverables to clients
  • Report and follow-up on defects in a timely manner
  • Perform indexing, searching, and marking of responsive data within processing system and/or hosted Relativity platform
  • Responsible for following standard operating procedures and training materials
  • Document issues and risks and report any inefficiencies or suggestions for improved process automation to production supervisor
  • Continually self develop in technical, business, and analytic areas
  • Deliver a quality product on time, within budget that meet or exceed the client requirements and expectations
  • Meet periodic objectives and project milestones

  • Improve cross-application/work center knowledge


  • B.S. or a B.A. degree in technology related curriculum or commensurate technical work experience
  • 3 – 6 years experience preferably in a technical field
  • Understanding of the e-Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and lifecycle a plus
  • Experience using e-Discovery processing tools such as Mindseye Discovery Manager, LexisNexis Law PreDiscovery, IPro, Nuix, and related tools is a plus
  • Experience administering review tools such as Concordance, Summation, Ringtail, iConect, and Relativity is a plus
  • Proficiency in problem recognition and solving skills
  • Proficiency in interpersonal and written communications
  • Knowledge of SQL Management Studio, creating scripts and stored procedures
  • Desire/initiative to learn more advanced technical and design concepts
  • Ability to works independently and requires moderate supervision

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate work
