Job description

GfK Market Access provides strategic and tactical guidance related to the pricing, reimbursement, economics and policy underlying market access. Our engagements entail detailed market opportunity assessments, reimbursement analyses, economic modeling, competitor assessments and technical and commercial due diligence. 

The Senior Analyst is a developmental role, supporting the local office and wider GfK Market Access team in conducting secondary research, contributing to primary research programs and inputting into the development of proposals, dossiers, presentations, company profiles and client deliverables under the guidance of senior team members. The Senior Analyst is a central figure in any project team and is relied upon to drive development of insights and client deliverables.


Specific Responsibilities include:

Member of the Market Access consultants team who deliver successful projects in the areas of: Market Access strategy; pricing and reimbursement; opportunity evaluation and health economics

The Senior Analyst will support all levels of the healthcare reimbursement and Market Access consulting process, including: primary and secondary market research and data analysis; pricing and reimbursement environment analysis; strategy formulation; presentation development and delivery; client interaction and support and business development

Follow standard procedures to undertake secondary research; understand and utilize all available data sources efficiently; make recommendations for new sources; gather and analyze data; identify and design appropriate methods of research and support on primary research: undertake telephone and face-to-face interviews with payers (when appropriately trained), KOLs and other stakeholders; support the development of structured discussion guides, making on-going amendments where necessary; advise and support analysts with coordination of advisory board logistics

Execute tasks to a client ready standard: Ensure that all data is accurate and consistent, and any inconsistencies are flagged up to the project manager; ensure appropriate referencing, formatting, spelling and grammar; proactively communicate with colleagues ensuring mutual exchange of information; utilize own knowledge and expertise to support the induction process for new colleagues




Experience and Skill:

Minimum of 2 + years of Healthcare / Market Access experience and/or Consulting

Highly refined analytical and communication skills

The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

The capacity to work effectively, both independently and in group settings

The ability to develop creative strategic insights and solutions

Excellent writing skills to supportreport development, proposal writing, and presentation creation and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint) 



BA/BS degree in Life Sciences, Business or Public Health
