Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this role is to partner with Legal Department leadership as a subject matter expert regarding legal analytics and reporting. This is accomplished by creating metrics and KPIs aligned to the General Counsel’s key objectives and strategic plan that provide a means to monitor the execution of the fiscal strategy against stated goals as well as measure overall department effectiveness and efficiency.
The successful Legal Data Analyst candidate must have a strong working knowledge of data visualizations, data analytics and data base structures. Including an expertise in Microsoft transact-SQL, python and/or other data/analytics-oriented scripting languages. Proficient in data visualization environments such as PowerBI or Tableau along with a working knowledge of how to publish the visualizations produced by these environments.
