This role is responsible for all Atlassian toolsets including Jira and Confluence. This individual will guide the organization in crafting vision and strategy for these applications plus detailed execution. maintain Confluence and Jira instances based on industry best practice, and collaborate with employees from a wide array of disciplines across the organization to improve efficiency, create governance, and optimize the Atlassian tools and add-ons. The Sr. Atlassian Analyst is also responsible for security administration for all Atlassian tools. This individual will create and deactivate profiles as needed for new and terminated employees. The Sr. Atlassian Analyst will implement security controls that allow required access to projects and settings while restricting access where appropriate.


  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related area
  • 5+ years experience administering Atlassian applications in a medium sized, multi-program organization
  • 5+ years experience in troubleshooting Confluence issues and performing installations, migrations, and add-on installation
  • Working experience with multiple Atlassian tools, such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.
  • Understanding of both cloud and on premise Atlassian managed solutions
  • Understanding of Atlassian tools and how they fit together along with governance
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and partnering skills with both technical & non-technical users
  • Ability to prioritize across various tasks, manage changes in daily workload, and guide multiple teams
  • An understanding of IT Project Management
  • Familiar with CQL, JavaScript, Python, and Java
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills in order to meet deadlines, complete tasks and respond to customer and or partner needs
  • Knowledge of ITIL Service Management
  • Familiar with HTML and CSS
  • Desire to work in a diverse environment interacting with many roles and teams to support strategic objectives
  • Able to travel up to 10% - domestically and internationally


  • Serve as an administrator of the Atlassian toolset
  • Oversees the day-to-day running of Atlassian tools, including enforcing policies, maintaining systems, and responding to user requests
  • Manages user permissions based on the needs of organization
  • Assist in maintaining the roadmap for the product, including architecture, technology, and functional usage
  • Maintain and improve Atlassian tools and add-ons; evaluate, test, and implement new versions and add-ons
  • Support cross-functional teams to design and help implement solutions consistent with industry best practices
  • Provide support and advanced troubleshooting for user community
  • Standardize, create governance structure, and consolidate application solutions and processes across the organization
  • May be responsible for other PMO activities such as: audit, and compliance reporting, ITSM tool support, backup the change and problem manager
  • Protect Chamberlain's reputation by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
