The Manufacturing Engineer role requires the ability to work with others, is self-motivated, able to work with minimum supervision, has a skill set that will enable and drive continuous improvement of both processes and personal capabilities.
-Safety: Must ensure that work processes they design, monitor, and improve are safe and are sensitive to employee accident as well as ergonomic risk factors.
-Generating and maintaining work instructions,
-Designing assembly tooling,
-Providing technical support to production associates, actively participating in Rapid Problem Solving (RPS) and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities.
-Working with internal and external suppliers to resolve quality issues and reducing product costs through improving process capabilities or through product redesign.
-May participate in design reviews with internal and external customers.
-Participate in site Tiered accountability process.

Education, Training, & Experience:
?Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline and 3-5 years directly related experience or a minimum of 10 years of directly related experience.
? Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
? Effective written and verbal communications skills
? Project management skills
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
? Strong business acumen with the ability to drive process improvements.
? Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality system or similar environment
? Pro/Engineer Modeling Standards
? Training and experience in Six Sigma, Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA) and Lean Manufacturing
? Experience with TPS Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
