Description

Kateeva is looking for a Sr. Account Support Engineer to support the development of Kateeva's proprietary manufacturing equipment for fabricating the next generation of flat screen displays - organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays.  Kateeva has developed unique printing technology ideally suited for OLED display manufacturing and is building a talented, top-notch team to develop, optimize, and commercialize OLED manufacturing processes based on this technology.  We are looking for a Sr. Account Support Engineer interested in working in a fast paced environment alongside a great team recruited from among Silicon Valley's top companies.  Our Sr. Account Support Engineer should be familiar with one or more of the following areas: advanced technology manufacturing systems, system installation, on site customer product support, advanced troubleshooting methods, project management, and customer management.

Responsibilities (One or more of the following):

  • Field support operations and planning for specific sites and customers
  • Owns performance of the systems in the field and the success of local field service teams
  • Owns closure of FAT sign-off
  • Installation project management
  • Spares forecasting and planning
  • Customer and Customer Service Engineer (CSE) training
  • Utilization of high precision mechanical alignment and calibration tools and electrical system diagnostic tools
  • Cross functional coordination with engineering, product support, process experts, manufacturing, material planning, and field service as necessary to achieve system performance objectives
  • Vendor coordination
  • Customer management in all aspects of system installation and ongoing field support
  • Facilities readiness and hook-up
  • On site leadership and mentoring CSEs
  • Progress reporting
  • Conducting timely escalation when there are schedulerisks
  • System theory
  • Troubleshooting methodologies for electro-mechanical systems
  • 30% travel on average with peak periods of up to 50%


Qualifications:

  • BS Engineering Degreerequired, MSpreferred
  • Technical curiosity
  • Creative and resourceful troubleshooting skills
  • 8years' experience in field service role required, supervisory or managerial experiencepreferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid customer management skills with focus on high technology manufacturing customers in Asia
  • Ability to work with people speaking English as a second language
  • Resourceful and creative in environments with minimal supervision
  • Ability to dive into leading edge and highly innovative new deposition technology and quickly understand mechanical, software, and process issues
  • Work with the leading technologists in the field and quickly grasp advanced concepts in inkjet printing
  • Intermediate Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to create detailed project plans
  • Ability to negotiate for internal resources as required for the project
  • Self-starting, capable of working independently
  • Willingness to learn on-the-fly
