SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Become a key team player and make a difference by working on the K-C Rite Aid team managing our Personal Care Business as a Sr. Customer Business Partner. The incumbent will be responsible for the knowledge of assigned Kimberly-Clark Personal Care products and categories (Baby Care, Adult Care, Feminine Care). Conduct joint business planning with customer buyers, category managers and other key customer contacts to drive volume and profitable growth for K-C categories. Implement K-C brand strategies and tactics to drive profitable sales. Manage customer relationships, business planning and execution, category management, and trade management leveraging cross-functional resources and data sources.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • General understanding of marketplace dynamics.
  • Responsible/accountable for implementing K-C brand strategies, vision and tactics with customers.
  • Manage customer relationships and K-C categories, along with trade management utilizing cross-functional resources and data sources.
  • Develop and conduct strategic business plans jointly with customer buyers, category managers and other key contacts to drive volume and profitable growth for K-C brands.
  • Strategically manage business plan being accountable for the financial position and meeting/exceeding objectives.
  • Assemble and analyze business plans and test scenarios prior to submission.
  • Analyze and interpret customer trends and demographic data. Project short-term implications to ensure K-C's action plans meet future demands.
  • Keep team leader informed on status of plans and programs, changing conditions, requirements of marketplace, competitive activity, issues and accomplishments that may affect sales results.

  • Ability to travel via aircrafts, and operate and drive motor vehicles for business travel, with valid driver license.

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Demonstrate and strategically apply consumer industry and cross-category knowledge and expertise. Arrange meetings with customer executives and engage appropriate K-C leaders to develop strong customer relationships and drive strategic partnership. Promptly reconcile and communicate changes and conduct team adjustment to new changes. Adjusting to meet requirements of changing conditions/situations. Maintain effectiveness of varying environments with different tasks, responsibilities and people. Make timely decisions in alignment with business objectives. Set priorities and proactively identify issues, underlying problems and potential solutions to develop plan of action. Evaluate cause and effect relationships.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education required:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.

Experience:

At least 5 years of progressive exempt status experience in business, customer management, and sales/customer development. Proficient in customer, category and trade management.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

Knowledge of forecasting, supply and demand experience, and shelf reset experience. Experience working in Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry. Strong record of exceeding sales objectives. Track record of developing and executing unique solutions and innovation to customers.
