As a M365 Engineer at Blackspoke, you will design, implement, and manage both physical and virtual Microsoft SQL Servers, applying security and vendor best practices in a distributed IT environment. This role is pivotal in supporting our Government Customer's overhead reconnaissance systems and intelligence activities.

Customer Description:

Our Government Customer develops and operates unique and innovative overhead reconnaissance systems and conducts intelligence-related activities for U.S. National Security. IT plays a key role in the success of the Warfighter and within the Intelligence Community by sharing actionable intelligence across mission-enabled and business systems.

Program Description:

This program is the primary engineering branch responsible for designing and deploying IT systems that help the Agency achieve its mission. With over a decade of involvement and deeply integrated expertise, Blackspoke is a trusted partner in developing and modernizing the Agency’s IT infrastructure.

What you will be working on:

• Engineer, document, deliver, and maintain Microsoft SQL versions from 2005 through 2017 according to specifications and security guidelines.
• Diagnose and resolve complex performance, security, and technical issues.
• Participate in all phases of ITIL Service Lifecycle, including Change Requests and Incident ticket resolution.
• Design and integrate SQL instances in both virtualized and physical environments.
• Implement fault-tolerant database solutions and disaster recovery strategies.
• Ensure database configurations comply with DISA STIGs.
• Support applications reliant on SQL databases, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.

What you will bring to us (Must):

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of related experience,
• including 3-5 years in SQL administration and design
• Experience working on Modern M365 Online Infrastructure
• Cyber reliance & readiness experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows systems, including DNS, Group Policy, and PKI.
• CompTIA Security+ CE or similar certification for IAT Level II DoD 8570 compliance.
• MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent M65 Infrastructure certification.

Would be nice if you bring the following (Highly Desired):

• Experience with MySQL.
• Advanced knowledge in designing database solutions for scalability and high availability.
• SharePoint Online Administration & Development Experience
• Modern App Development Experience
