Seeking an individual with extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
? The ideal candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve with a strong sense
? In this position, you will be the face of all things data.
? You will need to be able to see the big picture while also able to work though the details to implement the big picture.
? This will involve data migration from other systems, script development and execution, creating DB backups, database design and verification, data integrity validation, and interactions with
external stakeholders and customers.
? The candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, with aggressive timelines.
? This person should be a self-starter, able to work both independently and cooperatively as required. State government experience is a definite plus.
? Refine business requirements into technical requirements and specifications
? Design and develop SSIS packages, database objects, tables, stored procedures and views
? Performance tuning the stored procedures and T-SQL.
? Communicate accurate and useful status updates
? Manage and report time spent on all work activities
? Strong written, technical documentation and oral communication skills
? Enjoy working in a team environment.
? Solid experience with MS SQL Server 2008 R2 and above
? Strong knowledge of XML and XPath
? T-SQL language (queries, views, procedures)
? Proficient translation of business requirements and functional specifications into technical data requirements
? Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects, demonstrate initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
? Large-scale data extract, transform, and load (ETL) migrations
? Data warehousing concepts
? Experience with iterative and/or Agile Scrum development methodologies
? SQL Server databasetroubleshooting and query optimization
? SQL Server database design
? SQL Server stored procedure design and implementation
? Knowledge of MS Biztalk Server
? Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc)
