Speech Writer, Senior

Key Role:

Support intelligence community senior leaders by writing speeches, talking points, video scripts, briefings, and other communications products, including emails and articles. Develop and implement internal and external communications, proactively identify and implement marketing strategies, and analyze customer needs. Provide appropriate recommendations for message and information development, communication method selection, and timing of messages. Tailor messages by target audience, research, write, edit, and publish communications products across multiple platforms. Provide direction to graphic designers, briefing developers, photographers, illustrators, and other required staff. Prepare material for internal and external publications and other media and manage and monitor production schedules. Develop new communication methods to reach target audiences.

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience with providing strategic communications support or speech writing to executives
• Experience with providing executive-level support
• Knowledge of the IC and DoD
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Possession of excellent data-gathering skills
• Possession of excellent analytical skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
