Job responsibilities include:
-Support the preparation, consolidation, and analyses and documents financial data used to summarize and measure status, evaluates business plans, identifies variances and forecasts results.
-Lead for legacy and new programs (business jet) input cost support and analysis
-Drive ship unit cost reductions and provide financial support / oversight to programs around unit cost.
-Support Inventory and BOM Configurations for legacy and new programs (business jet) programs
-Ability to interface with middle and senior level management and articulate program financial information in a clear and concise manner.
-Understand and interpret financial implications of contract terms and conditions, accounting guidelines and policies for financial administration, management, and consultation. Communicate findings and recommendations to advise and influence management and program decisions.
-Innovate and lead process/system improvements through CI events, introducing new methods and approaches, establishing best practices, and managing standard work.
-Support ad hoc requests from internal and external customers.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field with 5+ years experience
-Knowledge of SAP system or other MRP systems with experience in data mining.
-Strong presentation skills and ability to explain complexities that programs in the development and early production phases face.
-Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.
-Strong problem solving skills as well as business writing and communication skills.
-Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, & Word.
-Experience in Aerospace/Manufacturing preferred
