USC Bovard College (“Bovard College”) is seeking a Special Project Manager to provide administrative support to Bovard College’s academic operations.

Bovard College provides innovative programs to support individuals during key academic and career transitions. Bovard College graduate degree programs address the unique needs of working professionals as they advance in their careers. Curricular development projects, including media production are ongoing in the expansion and improvement of Bovard College’s academic programming. Outside resources are critical in supporting Bovard College in accomplishing its mission and purposes and this position is responsible for ensuring that Bovard College has adequate vendor and contract resources at all times to support core academic projects.

  • Bachelor’s degreerequired
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, operations or project management role
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with close attention to detail and willingness to ensure a quality student experience
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks on tight deadlines and prioritize appropriately
  • Effective teamwork orientation with the ability to work collaboratively to achieve objectives
  • Strong track record of delivering consistent and excellent customer service
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; experience using Microsoft Excel to track data and perform quantitative analysis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the willingness to adapt to changing priorities

Job Accountabilities:

  • Research, organize and summarize data for projects and work flow. Serve as a key resource for contract and supplier information and provide regular updates to senior staff on contract and payment status, and follow up with implementation as necessary.
  • Responsible for processing supplier contracts from inception through final payment including facilitating and coordinating vendor and supplier setup with the central USC procurement office, completing independent contractor agreements and statements of work, processing requisitions in USCeMarket, and tracking contract progress.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s degree

Preferred Experience:

  • 3 years of operational or project management experience in higher education
