Brief Description

LinQuest Corporation is searching for an Air Force Space Command training SME to join a high-performance team within HQ AFSPC supporting the A2/3/6T (Training Division). Active TS/SCI clearance is MANDATORY.

Duties/Responsibilities follow:

  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations to execute staffing functions and perform assigned tasks in support of training, test, exercise and mission ready analysis
  • Conduct operations training and Combat Mission Ready (CMR) research and analysis to develop requirements and capabilities baselines
  • Provide AFSPC force development analysis and planning for mission-related and associated programs and conduct analysis of CMR positions to determine operations crew position specific task training requirements, system test and exercise objectives and readiness, and provide recommendations to AFSPC and stakeholders to promote mission survivability
  • Extend CMR reviews to incorporate the requirement of the AFSPC/CC's Space Enterprise Vision. Provide CMR reviews to incorporate the elements of AFSPC's JFSCC requirements into the operational focus of all AFSPC space weapon systems and training applications.
  • Manage annual formal training allocations for AFSPC's Space/Cyber/Intel ops Initial Qualification Training (IQT) courses
  • Establish policy and guidance for Combat Mission Ready/Mission Ready training and stan/eval programs for AFSPC space, cyberspace, intel operations
  • Work as a member of Training Planning Teams (TPTs) for all operational systems and systems in acquisition/upgrade. Ensure operations training requirements are included in applicable concept and requirement documents. Advocate for the acquisition, modification and support of ops training systems. Identify ops training requirements to the TPT for inclusion in the applicable System Training Plan (STP)
  • Establish policy and guidance for operations training devices/simulators and direct Simulator Certification (SIMCERT) program to ensure AFSPC operations training devices/simulators support accurate and credible training for allocated tasks, missions, and events
  • Plan, organize and coordinate Realistic Training Review Board (RTRB) for space, cyberspace and Intel operations


Required Experience:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required
  • Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Candidates should have recent AFSPC Wing OSS experience and familiarity with Space Mission Force direction and requirements. In addition, candidates should:
  • Have HQ AFSPC staff experience, either active duty or contractor
  • Be able to prepare General Officer level quality staff products
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have the ability to multi-task and turn staff products rapidly in a dynamic environment
  • Be proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Have experience with TMT and other HQ staffing tools
