This position partners with internal business stakeholders across the company to optimize the buying of products and services needed to support company growth plans and profitability. As an individual contributor within Strategic Sourcing, this position will be responsible for leading strategic sourcing activities supporting various categories of spend. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders throughout the business to develop effective sourcing and cost reduction strategies. The primary responsibility is to utilize strategic sourcing best practices to achieve the best value from the supply chain.

Essential Functions:

- Leading sourcing teams within assigned business areas/categories.

- Conducting operational and organizational review of existing supplier relationships to identify value enhancing opportunities.

- Recommending strategiessupported by industry/market conditions.

- Execution of strategies through various strategic sourcing methods.

- Using arisk-based approach to developing sourcing strategies and negotiatingcontractlanguage

Bachelors (Required)

License and Certifications - Required

License and Certifications - Preferred

CPSM - Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management - Enterprise

Other Job Requirements


4-8years of experience with a Master's Degree, 6-10 years of experience with a relevant Bachelor's Degree. 4-7years of sourcing experience in Professional Services (consulting, contract and contingent labor, business process outsourcing, IT, travel and events, HR benefits, financial services, facility services)., Proven strong sourcing, negotiation, and contracting skills. Strong customer service and business partnership skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across different organizational levels, functions, businesses, and geographies. Excellent communication/facilitation skills, both oral and written. Well developed financial and market analysis skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to lead several initiatives at one time. Proficiency with Microsoft applications: including advanced level Word and Excel; intermediate level PowerPoint and Project. C.P.M. or C.P.S.M designation from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) strongly preferred.
