Purpose and Objective:SAP Industries, Inc. seeks a Solutions Sales Representative – Senior Specialist at our Plano, Texas office location (and various client sites nationwide) to work as an individual contributor and sales representative under the supervision of the Sales Manager and Sales Team to contribute to solution pipeline and sales in an assigned region.
Expectations and Tasks:Assist Sales Team with the opportunity plan containing the value proposition for SAP's targeted line of business services and solutions (such as CRM, HCM, SCM, GRC, EPM, Big Data, and Business Intelligence) to potential customers in a territory. Work to meet one's assigned sales revenue goals and generate a threefold increase in pipeline opportunity over assigned sales quota. Support the Regional Sales Lead in identifying and approaching sales cycle-based opportunities as directed. Collaborate with colleagues in the Regional Virtual Account Team (VAT) on sales campaigns, and assist the Regional VAT in educating target customers about SAP solutions and assessing account needs for strategic deals. Support the Sales Team by identifying and qualifying prospective customers and opportunities, and assist the team in defining a corresponding sales plan. Utilize SAP's sales best practices to secure repeatable and expansive sales opportunities with new and existing customers. Be adept at creating and facilitating customer relationships as a sales representative of the company while supporting the Sales Team. Work under the supervision of the Sales Manager to support the Sales Team in establishing, developing, and expanding market share and revenue within named customers. Responsible for meeting sales goals set by the Sales Team by contacting named customers to secure new sales opportunities. Position is a mid-level position within the Sales Team and company's organizational structure, and 70% travel required to various customer sites nationwide to assess needs and promote sales.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field of study and 6 years of experience. Will accept one year of work experience for each year not completed towards the Bachelor's degree. Will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience.
Work Experience:Experience must involve in memory computing; relational and columnar database; big data platforms; Hadoop and spark; enterprise information management; analytics; predictive capabilities; ERP; Cloud Infrastructure; Integration Services; Web Application Services; and Master Data Management. 70% travel required to various client sites nationwide.
