Job Summary

We are seeking a Solutions Marketing Manager to drive the creation and delivery of unique market positioning and sales enablement in support of the Hybrid Cloud and Managed Services portfolio of solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and the business value that it delivers for our customers.

The Solutions Marketer is expected to understand and monitor the changing market and target audience landscape and be the technical subject matter expert for your portfolio of offerings. You will leverage your understanding of the customer, market and product portfolio to craft unique go-to-market messaging, produce sales training and collaterals; as well as influence the direction of product roadmaps for delivering the ideal customer experience.

The role requires working closely with technical and non-technical resources to articulate complex technologies into business value in a highly competitive landscape. You will own the go-to-market planning and execution for your set of product/service responsibilities. This is a highly visible role across the organization that will require collaboration with peer teams including Product Management and Product Development, Marketing Communications (lead-gen campaigns), Corp Comms, Sales Enablement and Training, as well as the Sales Organization. You will be the ambassador of your portfolioresponsible for articulating the technical and business value to these internal teams, as well as external to publications and analysts, as well as among customers at industry tradeshow events.

Job Description

  • Designs impactful product marketing strategies to drive profitable revenues
  • Craft messaging and positioning documents that will be used to develop external messages focused on key segments, buyers, personas and use cases. Develop value propositions, differentiators, messaging, proof points and claims.
  • Lead internal and external launch of new products/services, including sales and partner enablement.
  • Own the go-to-market strategy and associated deliverables for your portfolio of offerings.
  • Develop and execute sales enablement plans to ensure sales understanding at various technical levels
  • Create content for sales enablement and marketing activation that generates qualified leads
  • Compose and manage the creation of sales training and enablement tools including sell sheets, FAQs, competitive positioning, training and internal awareness communications.
  • Compose content and manage the build of external marketing assets including brochures, case studies, customer presentations, newsletters, website, blogs and other social media.
  • Partner with marketing teams to drive the messaging in premium content such as infographics, white-board videos, webinars and other lead-gen campaign activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree business, engineering, or marketing.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in a product marketing, product management or related role in the Technology field/market
  • Direct B2B marketing experience with solid knowledge of marketing tactics
  • Successful track record in Go To Market (GTM) launch activities through the full lifecycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • A great attitude - willingness to learn new skills, take initiative and collaborate across teams
  • Aptitude to quickly come up to speed on new technology concepts. Passion to evangelize disruptive new technologies.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Hybrid Cloud and/or Managed Services industry experience

Education

Bachelors or Equivalent
