Solutions Engineer/Specialist

The Solutions Engineer will work closely with our Account Executives throughout the sales process. Primary responsibilities include meeting preparation with Account Executives regarding how our products meet a prospect’s needs.  In addition, this position will add education of success stories and practices in an ongoing basis with all of the sales team.  Demonstrating Kinnser’s solutions both in virtual and live meetings is required as is ensuring that our Account Executives have the technical support they need throughout the sales cycle.  Our Solutions Engineer will stay up to date on the best practices for deploying Kinnser’s solutions, bringing that information to the sales organization, as well as our prospects, in order to evangelize and champion Kinnser in the minds of our prospects and clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate prospects on Kinnser’s solution and service offerings by providing a consultative, best practices approach including analysis and analytics to define how we can best add value to each prospect
  • Provide intensive pre-sales technical consulting to Sales staff as they present and sell Kinnser’s solutions to their prospects by participating in online demonstrations, conference calls and site visits with our Account Executives
  • Document all customer questions to ensure immediate follow-up on all outstanding issues
  • Work closely with the Account Executives to respond to proposals and RFP’s to make certain that all technical information and recommendations address client’s requirements
  • Work closely with other parts of the organization such as our Product and Development, Client Services, and Marketing teams to ensure that newly released features are understood, as well as work with existing customers to determine how new features can increase the value of existing installations
  • Keep up to date on regulatory changes in the Home Health, Hospice and Private Duty industries
  • Handle special projects as needed
  • 50% travel

Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years Sales/Solutions Engineering experience in a relevant market
  • Home Health or Hospice experience required
  • Registered Nurse or other clinical license preferred
  • Experienced in proposal generation, project scoping and product demonstration skills
  • Strong verbal, presentation, written, and organizational skills with an ability to interact favorably with clients and prospects
  • Must be personable and possess high level of personal integrity
  • Understanding of SaaS sales cycle preferred
