Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a Solution Manager for their San Jose, CA headquarters. The Solution Manager will be responsible for solutions revenue, customer retention, and will possess a "big picture" mind set. The role will collaborate globally with the ability to always think beyond current projects. Additional duties include organizing technical resources within the company to address customers' needs proactively; performing duties with a consultative based mindset, resolving challenges by collaborating withinternal business partners: Field Application Engineering teams, and Product Management teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

  • Efficiently and effectively perform assembly, testing & troubleshooting/repair of Supermicro Superserver hardware
  • Act as customers' point of contact for strategic solution team
  • Manage customer deliverables including documentation and logistic as required to support Enterprise customers
  • Understand existing processes and provide continuous improvement in supporting the enterprise architecture model
  • Create solutions with service centric mind-set from concept to reality within existing constraints
  • Emphasis on service while providing technical guidance and deliver quality solutions
  • Design, build, configure, and integrate solutions in alignment with Supermicro strategic direction
  • Travel may be up to 20%

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS EE or CE
  • 5+ years’ Product Management experience
  • 2+ years’ experienceworking with GPU, or Machine Learning Experience
  • Strong understanding of Deep Learning (Python, Caffe/TensorFlow), GPU technology and related application
  • Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills
  • Demonstrate understanding or how to successfully work in cross-functional organizations
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation skills), and ability to negotiate effectively
