We are looking for an individual who possess either Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field and 4-7 years of experience, or an Associate’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or equivalent and 6-8 years of experience.

  • Design physical systems. Engineer data acquisition and integration systems at a component level – PLC, system controllers, basic network structures, communications protocols including how to pass data between disparate systems including Building Automation Systems (BAS), HMI/HMI programming, “metering” hardware data capabilities.
  • Design software systems: Accessing data, working with data from multiple systems particularly Building Automation Systems (BAS), databases in general – SQL specifically. Ability to work with systems such as Wonderware and Ignition for data pooling, Rockwell factory talk, Schneider EcoStruxure as well as HMI for display of processed data as information to meet client business solution needs.
  • Troubleshoot local controllers, communication wiring, programs, and schedules to identify concerns and determine corrective action.
  • Interacts with clients and other subcontractors to collaborate on design intent.
  • Serves as software development lead for PLC and Operator Interface/HMI design and programming.
  • Establishes design criteria for automation and process control projects.
