The Solution Engineering Senior Manager position will be responsible for accelerating sales bookings by delivering technical and market expertise through the final stages of the solution sales cycle. The ideal candidate is curious and passionate, with a superior ability to understand people and organizations and identify mutually beneficial solutions to the problems faced in the rapidly evolving healthcare payments industry.


Essential Functions:

  • Establish deep understanding of the healthcare payments ecosystem, including Payer, Provider and Consumer stakeholders
  • Effectively articulate current state industry problems, inefficiencies and stakeholder experience
  • Evangelize how InstaMed technologies solve complex problems within stakeholder environments
  • Prepare and deliver remote and on-site presentations alongside business development and account management teams
  • Guide customer expectations to implement solution features using best practices and industry experience
  • Evaluate unique market problems presented throughout the customer lifecycle via Statement of Work development
  • Deliver product, technology and industry insights across internal teams via training opportunities


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 10+ years of work experience in healthcare IT or payments industry
  • Strong analytical strategic thinking and communication skills
  • Demonstrated passion about solving complex business problems through technology
  • Experience implementing enterprise solutions and solid grasp of technical details related to systems integration
  • 20% travelrequired
  • Consulting and/or Product Delivery experience a plus
  • Self-starter, effective at prioritizing tasks, managing time, expectations, organizing people and getting things done
  • Any other duties as applicable to the position
