Job Description

The Solution Design Architect will serve as an interface between the Growth Team, Implementation & Consulting Delivery Teams, the Product Development Team, and prospective clients to conduct sales demos of technology products, both on-site and via web including Smart Square scheduling technology, Insight dashboard analytics technology, and open shift technology. Majority of demos will be onsite at prospective client with Business Development Executive, web based demos, and primary demo resource at tradeshows and events.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Demo software and configure for sales presentations with Business Development Executives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define the technology packages based upon client needs (Growth, PM, Innovation/Product Development, Client Services, Analytics, & Consulting)

Job Tasks:

  • Lead process with internal Avantas teams to ensure all technical / interface requirements, discovery meetings and critical project elements are accounted for pre-contract.
  • Engage prospective client with interactive sales demos of technology products to describe value and understand specific client needs.
  • Design new client-facing materials with education and marketing to complement the sales demo process, proposal and contracting phases, in order to engage prospect and describe product benefits and project deliverables.
  • Engage and activate the implementation team with client discovery to ensure successful outcomes (feeds, technical requirements, etc.).
  • Partner with product management on roll out plans of new technology products to bring to sales demo and Business Development Executives (i.e. Open shift, , online WFA Dashboard)

Education, Certifications & Experience

Minimum Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Education/Certifications:

  • Graduate-level course work in healthcare-related field is preferred

Minimum Experience:

  • Broad knowledge of health industry/labor management required
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence

Preferred Experience

  • 3 years experience in healthcare-related field with emphasis on strategic labor management
  • Experience in conducting demos in a C-Suite sales environment
  • Professional and/or academic history of successfully demonstrating capacity to learn, customer centric approach and focus
