As a Solution Advisor on the Sales Alignment Acute Care team, you will provide in-depth solution feature and functionality knowledge during the sales process and serve as the domain and industry expert for a broad base of solutions for our clinical clients. You will present scripted and unscripted solution presentations, demonstrating knowledge of solution's features and functionality; maintain current-state knowledge of industry intelligence trends; and contribute ideas to the design and development of Cerner solutions and services. You will clearly articulate and promote Cerner's competitive advantage during solution demonstrations; promote Cerner solutions at industry events, trade shows, regional client meetings and Cerner's annual health conference meeting; and participate in the bid submission or proposal process by creating and/or reviewing responses, contributing clinical and local workflow expertise as applicable, and sharing key proposal feedback with solution presenters.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care, health care administration or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 5 years’ health care information technology (HCIT) project management, sales or consulting work experience or clinical practice using healthcare information technology tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Studies
  • Registered Nurse

Expectations

  • Willing to travel up to 80-100% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
