The Wayne County Airport Authority is seeking candidates who meet or exceed the following required skills to fill the position of Solicitation Manager (Department Manager III)
- Have at least aBachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university with major course work in Business, Finance, Public Administration or a related field; AND
- Three (3) years of full time buyer experience independently facilitating formal and informal competitive solicitation processes for the procurement of goods and services in a public or private purchasing environment.
DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR JOB DUTIES
The Solicitation Manager under the general direction of the Vice President of Procurement, or designee, procures complex goods and services through the competitive and non-competitive solicitation process for the Airport Authority.
