Software Systems Engineer, API Product Owner at Modern Technology Solutions in Huntsville, AL

Responsibilities

Manage software baseline across all environments and domains. Track software baselines, service versions, and artifact versions across multiple environments. Track dependencies/identify downstream effects due to interface or version changes. Ensure documentation is current and correctly describes the capabilities, building a knowledge base using confluence and document interfaces described according to Swagger/Open API specifications. Communicate service capabilities to users and provide notice of changes as new versions are developed. Track service utilization (usage statistics) and provide the information to the Government.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree plus 4, Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years’ experience, Associates degree plus 8 years’ experience, or a minimum of 8 years’ experience, in relevant field
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Experience with development, test, and deployment in an Agile framework
• Experience with as many of these tools as possible:
• JIRA/Confluence
• APIs (related to discovery if possible); swagger; Postman; YAML, json
• Apache Avro
• Experience with commercial search/discovery technologies, specifically Elastic Search, desired
• Experience with NSG (GEOINT) Products and/or Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) Processes desired
• Experience with AWS or cloud desired
