Software Sales Engineer - Healthcare

Our client is an industry leader in streamlining the process of payment transactions within the healthcare sector. They offer innovative solutions to the healthcare marketplace that includes hospitals (large and small, groups and private practices, surgical centers and large specialty groups. They are seeking to hire a Solution Sales Engineer to assist the Enterprise Sales team with the development and sales strategies to promote new business development. In this role, the Sales Solution Engineer with travel with the sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and support Sales Representatives as a technical resource with product demonstrations and discussions
  • Create product/solution presentations and demonstrations for prospective clients
  • Provide technical support to prospective customers in a pre-sales engagement and assist with resolving issues
  • Understand customer requirements and create detailed Proposals and Statement of Works
  • Convey solution benefits to both existing and new business / technical audiences
  • Perform comprehensive market research on products and competitors, maintain subject matter expertise
  • Identify new business opportunities within current client base; upselling based on technical requirements


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Min. 3+ years of Sales Engineer experience within healthcare software technology
  • Payments/ POS technology strongly preferred
  • Strong technical expertise assisting sales teams needed
  • Experience with virtual collaboration / presentation tools
  • Documented Sales Success of meeting and achieving sales goals
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM (Salesforce preferably)
  • Ability to travel as needed


Offering:

  • Base Salary $100,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)
  • Year 1 @ plan $125,000 - $155,000
