ECS is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to help create simulation, virtual world, and serious game products in their Orlando, FL location. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will support multiple software project teams through software validation and by ensuring procedural compliance of ECS and customer standards and methodologies.

  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and execute functional, regression, and system tests
  • Ensure customer requirements are complete and testable
  • Create and manage test scripts and test plans while ensuring requirements coverage
  • Create and maintain reports of test results, traceability, defects, and product stability
  • Facilitate discussions and meetings for requirements definition and testing cycles
  • Provide guidance to other team members
  • Participate in project planning, monitor program activities, collect quality metrics, and participate in post project review
  • Perform quality audits and identify/recommend corrective measures


  • Bachelordegree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field
  • 5-8 years of software quality assurance experience
  • Experience with testing web-based, cloud-based, and mobile applications
  • Experience with testing and planning tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint
  • Experience with C#, Java, and SQL
  • Involvement in creation, review, and validation of test scripts and test plans
  • Experience in agile with knowledge of software and testing methodologies
  • Must have strong problem solving, organization, and planning skills, detail focused with the ability to adapt quickly to change while demonstrating flexibility
  • Exhibits excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be team-oriented and have the ability to work well with all levels of associates in potentially stressful situations


  • Solid technical skills in a test and development environment for Java, simulations, serious games, and mobile applications (iOS and Android)
  • Exposure to artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • Experience with Scrum methodology
  • US Federal Government or Department of Defense experience
  • Worked within CMMI maturity levels
  • Experience with Visio
  • Experience with complex simulations or serious game testing
