Reviewing contracts, external standards (AS9100, AS9115), and internal guidelines and directives to ensure the software development processes and products conform to those standards.
Developing and maintaining written guidelines and directives. Inspecting and evaluating software processes and products. Gathering and analyzing software metrics.
Performing audits of software development processes and products. Documenting findings and non-conformance.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field, Computer Science) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, etc.).
Experience with Software development life-cycle
Excellent English communication verbal and written skills
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
Software development/test experience
Experience with peer reviews of software, systems or documents
Experience with a defect tracking tool
Writing guides, manuals or how-to documentation
Experience with Agile software development
Conduct or participate in a Software Review Board
Assist in Program Process auditing;
Process and performance measurement:
and developing, collecting and analyzing metrics
Understanding of external quality standards such as ISO9001/AS9100
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
