Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) sector is seeking a Software Quality Engineer 3/4 to join our team in Orlando, Florida.

Realize the rewards of conquering a new challenge. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Mission Assurance organization. As part of Mission Assurance, you will be a member of the team responsible for defining, monitoring specifications and processes, and validating requirements to ensure the success of the mission for the customer.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Monitor and improve mission/quality assurance system elements that assure program execution and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate and interface with program management, engineering, manufacturing and other organizations to ensure requirements are met and quality standards are in place.

Support one or more programs in the NGMS Airborne C4ISR Division based out of Orlando, Florida.

This position can be hired at a Level 3 or Level 4.

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Quality Assurance, Computer Science, ElectricalEngineering or STEM degree. 

5 years of related experience in supporting in one or more areas: systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, software development, software test processes, software quality or program management.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required.

 

Basic Qualifications for Level 4:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Quality Assurance, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or STEM degree.

9 years of related experience in supporting in one or more areas: systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, software development, software test processes, software quality or program management.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required.


Preferred Qualifications for Level 3 and 4: 
Previous software experience in the following computer languages C, C++, C#, and Java.

Agile and Waterfall methodology familiarity, software development, systems engineering and Cyber Security experience.

Six Sigma Green Belt trained/certified.

Able to interact with key program personnel to assess and evaluate program compliance with key quality program processes and specifications, particularly in the area of software processes.

Hands-on experience developing or reviewing plans and processes associated with AS9100 and/or CMMI.

Possess active DOD Secret Security Clearance.
