Mitel, Inc. is seeking for a highly-motivated Software Test Engineer who is passionate about playing a critical role in our Contact Center organization. Candidates will be self-starters, have the ability to learn new applications and technologies quickly. As a critical member of our Mitel software engineering team you will be responsible for contributing to tools development, automation and quality assurance of Mitel cloud service applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop automation tools/frameworks for Mitel applications
  • Develop automation scripts for regression & functional test cases
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of cloud service product
  • Review requirement documents and functional specifications and attend review meetings
  • Execute automated and manual test suites to ensure the product meets the Mitel Quality assurance goals
  • Be a vocal proponent of quality in every phase of tool & framework development

 Requirements:

  • 4+ years’ experience as a member of framework & automation team
  • Solid understanding of automation frameworks (Robot, etc)
  • Experience in programming languages like Python, Perl, JavaScript
  • Good experience in Selenium tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Good knowledge on SIP & telecom is a plus
  • Working on a cloud based environment is a big plus
  • Experience with web technologies is a plus
  • Prior experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo is a Plus
  • Work in a flexible agile development environment with a rapid release cycle
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Understanding of QA methodology and software development life cycle
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to resolve critical issues and adapt to constant change
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology concepts and terminologies
  • Must have strong communication skills, excellent listening skills, and strong work ethics
  • Self-starter, motivated, detail oriented, and have the ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Work Authorization: must be US Citizen or Green Card holder and not require sponsorship

Education:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or comparable experience
