The selected candidate will be the Software Product Acquisition Manager (SPAM) for the F-16/F-22 Integrated Fighter Group Electronic Warfare Team supporting the implementation of new and updated system designs for F-16 and F-22 aircraft.
The SPAM is responsible for developing the technical requirements, technical planning, acquisition, interface control, test planning and execution of software and firmware products developed under supplier subcontracts.
The SPAM provides this technical direction and support to ensure supplier software products are: developed within program approved processes, tested to meet project requirements, and released on a schedule that supports program needs.
The SPAM also provides financial oversight for acquisition of software and firmware products including analysis of supplier earned value management
system (EVMS) data.

facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance

Experience with military aircraft avionic system software development practices and processes and software project management.
Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline, with professional experience; Considered an emerging authority.
-Experience with safety critical and safety significant software requirements, cyber security requirements and embedded software development.
- Program management experience including; planning, scheduling, EVMS, risk management, configuration management and problem resolution.
- The ability to build and maintain effective working - relationships with customers, suppliers, and peers.
