We are seeking motivated engineers to provide strategies and plans for high performance web-based, service-oriented applications in the Health Care industry. Your primary responsibilities will be to develop performance strategies, milestones and plans for these applications, and designing and implementing test plans to ensure software operates within defined performance requirements and meets user expectations for performance throughput and response time. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, enterprise level design, and quality product is essential.

  • Provide accurate scoping, clear strategies, milestones, and goals for performance tests 
  • Determine high-level performance test scope, timeframes and environment needs
  • Model/plan for future product performance 
  • Analyze functionality requirements and effectively identify and communicate potential performance risks during the course of the project
  • Identify, develop and execute preemptive monitoring and maintain processes and tools as needed
  • Develop data and statistical reports for system performance and capacity
  • Gain awareness of complex product features and execution affecting product performance
  • Collaborate closely with software development colleagues to resolve issues and make improvements
  • Coordinate with customer support teams to diagnose performance issues
  • Design automated tests to perform in-depth testing of product throughput and response times
  • Execute test plans and investigate performance issues thoroughly
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Provide technical and project leadership to other staff members


  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of software performance analysis and performance tool development experience
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in agile, small-team environments
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously when necessary
  • Microsoft Windows operating system monitoring and diagnostic skills
  • SQL Database tuning experience with indexes and maintenance best practices (Desire SQL Server experience)


  • Experience with traceability and regulatory testing desired
  • Experience with automated testing software such as JMeter, LoadRunner or comparable software
  • Experience with healthcare IT and/or software preferred
  • Cloud-centric performance experience with Azure, AWS, or the equivalent
  • Experience with SaaS-based solutions in the Azure or AWS clouds


  • All employees must pass drug test, and must have valid proof of eligibility to work in the USA
