General Description:

The primary role will be to manage software implementation projects and support the customer base. Additional responsibilities include providing pre and post sales support to the sales team. Must possess good communication skills and be a team player.

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for an Operational Project Manager who is hands-on, detail oriented. We are not looking for an advisory Project Manager who is not hands-on.
Responsible for all aspects and deliverables for the project
Manage client expectations
Ensure client satisfaction and client references
Project Initiation
Work with client stakeholders to identify requirements
Interface with client team, users to define and reach agreement on solutions
Develop project scope and implementation approach
Oversee development of requirements, use case and specification to meet requirements
Project Planning
Owner of Project Plan. Responsible for planning and estimating tasks and timelines
Work with internal resource management team to staff team for project
Project Execution
Direct project staff to for implementing the project
Interact with functional members both on the client and internal team to coordinate to ensure implementation of deliverables
Lead consultants who will deliver specific modules/product set for the implementation
Deliver the project to meet deliverables, quality and timelines within budget
Project Control
Ensure project control using standard project management practices
Provide weekly status updates to customers and internal management team
Coordinate and present at Steering committee meetings
Manage and stay on top of Risks and Issues in the project
Project Communication
Engages in effective and continuous two-way communication among all team members consistent with all having the information needed to contribute fully

Skills and Experience:

MSDegree in engineering, management or equivalent preferred
Must have 6+ years of experience in Project Management for Enterprise Product or Custom Software implementation
Experience with business process engineering, and project management tools and methodologies
Working knowledge of Food / CPG vertical and ERP processes is preferred
Must have excellent analytical and a problem solving skills
Possesses excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
