Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Software Engineering Technical Assistant/Tester to join the Software Solutions Group in the Hardware Solutions Department. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions.
The Software Engineering Technical Assistant/Tester will support the project management and software development lifecycles on multiple projects. Candidate will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of project artifacts such as technical/programmatic briefing charts, reports, and schedules and monitoring project resources. Candidate will assist in the agile software development process by maintaining requirements and design documents, assisting with the development of product backlogs, monitoring project issues and statuses, conducting testing, and managing releases.
The Software Engineering Technical Assistant/Tester will play a pivotal role in the efficiency, growth, and success of the Software Solutions Group.
Candidates must have the following skills to be considered:
Successful candidates will possess at least an associate's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Technical degrees are preferred.
Professional experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.
The position requires the candidate to be an analytical thinker with an attention to detail. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize and support multiple projects and people. Good communication skills are necessary. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
