Boeing - Strike, Surveillance and Mobility (SSM) is continuing to expand with steady growth in domestic and international sales. SSM encompasses a portfolio of premiere weapon systems platforms, like the B-1 and B-52 bombers in Oklahoma City. As a Software Engineering Manager you will provide strong technical leadership for our team of software engineers supporting the modernization and modification of the B-1 and B-52 programs.

This team is responsible for developing and maintaining multiple software products used by our Air Force customers, including aircraft software, ground applications, and development environment infrastructure.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute project and process plans
• Implement policies and procedures
• Set operational goals
• Manage suppliers
• Maintain relationships with customers and partners
• Manage a team of software engineers performing development for Bombers

Qualifications

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience in managing a team or as a technical lead
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
• Experience with real-time embedded multiprocessor programs and/or user interface development programs
• Master of Business Administration or professional management certifications
