Faster Payments is a critical application has been built with New User Experience (NX) requiring expert level skills in Core Java, J2EE, JavaScript frameworks and responsive design experience with different browsers, operating systems and mobile devices. This application will help the Bank to move away from the Vendor application and address Struts issue and re-mediate ADA issues.
This candidate will be a key subject matter expert on these initiatives and is a critical resource providing the team much needed design, development, integration testing and production support for our Core Java back-end functionality.
The unique skills that the candidate brings to the table and the experience he has in the specific niche Payments and Wires space makes him uniquely qualified. Replacement will be extremely costly to the Treasury, Merchant and Payments Services Technology Group and will impact the delivery time-line.
This position requires deep technical expertise in back-end Core Java / J2EE skills, Test-Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development practices as well as DevOps principles are required in order to develop new features in the application code. Additionally, technical expertise in JDK 1.8, Spring MVC, Hibernate 3.2, XML, JAX-RS, Apache CXF, JUnit 4, WebSphere Application Server 8.0, RAD 7.5, Subversion, GIT, Tortoise SVN, WebLogic 12c, Anthill Pro, Udeploy, Jenkins, Redhat Linux 7.5. is needed in order to meet the requirements for this position.
