The Software Engineer will help create solutions for integration of unmanned aircraft systems into the national airspace system. The Software Engineer will work within an autonomous squad on applications for creating drone flight plans, reporting drone locations and airspace collision detection using intelligent algorithms. The Software Engineer will contribute to the construction of a global aviation database driven completely by API’s.
The Software Engineer will contribute to the creation of the product through a combination of expertise, experience, and leadership. Within the team, the Software Engineer’s mission is to create a product that is scalable and performant for both the back-end API’s as well as the User Interface.
The Software Engineer will work within an autonomous squad on applications for helping support the safe and efficient integration of drones into our airspace and our communities. Drone flight planning, drone tracking, sensor (radar, optical) and communication (4G/5G, CNPC, etc) integration, airspace capacity management & deconfliction, environmental impact and other such advanced functions will be developed, validated and put to work leveraging cutting edge technologies and intelligent algorithms. Your squad will contribute to the construction of a cloud-native, data-centric, API-driven, global aviation platform at the world’s leading airspace management company.
