We serve retailers, manufacturers, and brands, and our solutions are designed to power the shopping experience – from first click to doorstep – and to scale with them as their business grows.

Kibo is looking to add an engineer to our team to work closely with our Monetate Personalization product. Our Monetate team solves difficult challenges involving machine learning, statistics, data visualization, real-time decisioning, and user interface, and we solve them on a global scale.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Work with talented engineers to help to build highly scalable ML/AI product
Write simple, well-structured, well-tested code that provides new features and improvements to existing services, using Python, React, JavaScript, Druid, SQL, and more
Ship code to our production environment on a regular basis
Work in an Agile environment following Scrum principles
Collaborate with product management, ux, and other engineering teams
Participate in code reviews

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2+ years development experience required
Strong experience with Pythom programming language required
Knowledge of RESTful web services
Experience with relational databases
Passionate about testing and able to write effective unit, system, and integration tests
Can collaborate with other departments as well as your own team
Curious, interested, engaged, and always aiming to improve
Front-end experience utilizing Javascript and JS Frameworks (React, Angular, etc) a plus
