This opportunity will be working on the SafePath product line. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a solid understanding of software engineering practices and all aspects of software lifecycle and architectural design..

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work both within team and independently on new features, enhancements and defects
• Design, develop, customize, test and deploy server applications
• Estimate tasks, deliver on commitments and prioritize activities accordingly
• Ensure software meets high quality, participate in code and design reviews
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business requirements

Requirements:

• BS degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong development knowledge and experience in Java or Golang
• Good experience using server-side platforms and technologies such as Java EE stack
• Experience in designing and building queries using SQL database backend
• Good understanding of commonly used design and Integration patterns
• Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Interpersonal skills to effectively interact across functionally and with customers
• Preferred Experience:
• Experience developing frontend applications using JavaScript frameworks, HTML and CSS is a plus. AngularJS preferred
• Experience integrating with 3rd Party systems
• Basic experience with Linux, Cloud and container-based deployments. AWS and Docker preferred
• Experience with developing REST APIs and service-based architectures
• Experience with Git, Bug tracking and CI/CD tools
