This position includes design, development, and test activities in various Microsoft Windows software application areas such as UI presentation layers, services, and drivers. Candidates for this position must be capable of developing applications from existing detailed designs and should also have the experience or the desire to develop, document, and present new designs that meet new customer or lower level requirements.  The candidate should also be able to write and execute test plans and procedures in order to perform unit level testing, s/w integration testing, as well as product robustness testing. 

 This position is in a fast paced and dynamic environment requiring tasking flexibility to meet ever changing customer objectives.  It will require the ability to work within a team structure as well as work independently with minimal supervision.  Good communication skills, both verbal and written are crucial.  

This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering and is located in our Plano, TX office.


Essential Functions:


Development Experience with C, C++, C#, .NET

                      Experience with Microsoft frameworks; MEF, Prism and WPF

                  Experience developing presentation layer using WPF in a MVVM architecture.

                  Graphics experience with GIMP or similar utilities a plus.

                  Experience with WPF themes and theme development is a plus                 

Development in Visual Studios 2010 (or later) environment

Real-time debugging (using VS debugger) and graphical debugging

Familiarity with GreenHills Integrity Real-Time Operating System is a plus

Familiarity with Windows Socket interface

  • 2-10 years of software development experience
  • United States citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility. Current existing DoD clearance of at least Secret is highly preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SSBI is required. 
  • BS in engineering, computer science or related degree

  • Fast learner - adaptive thinker
