EOIR is seeking an energetic, results-oriented individual with aBachelor of Science in Software Engineering or Computer Science and a minimum of 5yearsexperience. This individual will be supporting the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of software and computer systems supporting Naval weapon systems. EOIR is seeking individuals withexperience developing and executing IV&V test cases, supporting requirements analysis to ensure traceability and testability, and reviewing manuals and testreports. This effort will require supporting systems engineering and integration, softwaredesignand development, software management, software testing, and software certification of the Gun Computer System (GCS).
Experience designing, developing, and testing software test procedures and test cases, in accordance with IV&V best practices.
Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Asp.net, HTML/CSS, XML, SQL
Demonstrated ability to review, understand, present, and implement requirements, best practices, and guidance associated with design, development, testing, and certification of software and associated products.
Demonstrated knowledge of requirements traceability, testing, and software intensive systems.
Demonstrated ability to understand and evaluate software trouble reports and software solutions to develop and execute verification and validation tests.
Demonstrated knowledge and application of engineering analysis, problem-solving techniques, trouble-shooting, and simulation methodologies.
Must be able to work independently as well as within a variety of teams
Must have the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization
Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience with one or more of the following systems: Gun Computer System (GCS) MK 160, MK 34 and MK 48 Gun Weapon Systems (GWS), MK 45 Gun Mount, MK 20 Electro Optical Sensor System (EOSS), and MK 110 Gun System.
General understanding of Air, Surface, and Naval Fire Surface Support naval mission areas.
